Suncadia is not current to the City of Cle Elum on water and sewer payments. this is a concern because while Suncadia "runs" a utility company, its Cle Elum who provides us with all of our water and sewer! We're making payments to Suncadia...but is the City going to shut us off since they are not getting paid?

Looking to possibly purchase a Tumble Creek lot. Any deals out there?

OK.... most of these Suncadia blogs that I find are about 1 year since they have been active. Our family is considering a vacation property purchase within Suncadia. I am a little scared to DEATH when I read some of these postings from 2009- 2010. People talking about the resort failing to follow through with the original build/vision that was given to home owners. Poor management of existing facilities, etc.
So currently it is October 2011.... we are meeting with a realtor this weekend..... I can only expect honest answers from homeowners like yourselves. What is the current financial health of Suncadia? Bankruptcy, unfinished resort facilities, etc? or are you all past that? Final golf course built, etc. etc.

We have 2 families looking for a last minute Labor Day weekend in a home in Suncadia. 4 adults, 4 kids. Just want to have a place to unwind & wander around. Check in Fri 9/2 & check-out Mon 9/5 (we could add 1 night on either side if needed). Yes...I believe in miracles (that something could still be available - or someone's plans have changed). Please contact me if you have something available. Thanks...

We are looking at homes and lots in Suncadia. We would love an update on the neighborhood - are concerns being resolved? Also, is it typical there to force someone to sign a contract to look at homes and pay 3% commission? Typically, the seller pays commission.

Just passing this update on to you.....

The Market is 67th today in its bid for a $50,000 award at www.RefreshEverything.com/RoslynSundayMarket. Only your daily vote through March 31 can transport it to one of the top ten positions eligible to receive the award which will secure the financial future of the Market through 2010 and beyond by enabling the Market to do in one season what it has taken 5 to do – double attendance and vendor sales! Your participation is vital!

Notice when you vote each day, you receive 10 votes to distribute to 10 applications. To participate in ensuring these funds come to Washington State, visit www.RefreshWashington.com where 10 Washington State applications are listed, including the Roslyn Sunday Market’s.

The time you spend voting is an invaluable gift to many, you included. Thank you!

Want to pass this on to all of you that are interested in preserving the Roslyn Sunday Market!
The Roslyn Sunday Market is a candidate for a $50,000 award at http://www.refresheverything.com/roslynsundaymarket and it needs your votes to win! This farmers’ market has provided this small Washington historic coal mining town, made famous by the early 90’s TV series, “Northern Exposure”, with unique economic and social opportunities during its five seasons. For 13 Sundays each summer, it turns an otherwise sleepy downtown into a vibrant, energetic marketplace! It has become a community icon! It now attracts 1300-1500 visitors each of its 13 weeks (up from 600 it first season) and hosts over 35 vendors each week (up from 20 in 2005)! These vendors grossed $75,000, which studies show is at least matched by spending in town by the market shoppers as they explore the historic retail core! Retailers have confirmed that Market Sundays are their best days! The Market’s live music tent encourages shoppers to linger longer with family and friends. The summer tourist population here far exceeds the local population so that half the shoppers are visitors from out of town which is a great opportunity for vendors and retailers to expand their markets!

Like all farmers markets, the Roslyn Sunday Market is challenged to continue while building attendance and vendors sales to critical masses to become financially sustainable. The award would enable the Market to do in one season what it has taken 5 seasons to do until now – double attendance and double vendor attendance and sales, which also requires adding staff. This level of growth would carry the Market through 2010 and beyond and will be a model for farmers’ market development across the country!

Voting is quick, easy and not intrusive and can be done again on subsequent days. The Market needs 800-1000 votes each day to reach the top ten! If this idea appeals to you, please pass the information on to your contacts for their support. The Market needs to go viral to win! There can be 10 awards at the $50,000 level so the odds are good! I think I’ve already beaten the odds by being one of 1095 applications chosen to be on the Web site in March! The Market needs your participation to do it again!

Bookmarking http://www.refresheverything.com/roslynsundaymarket will make voting each day through March 31 efficient for you and a gift to the Market!

Thank you very much for your time and consideration!

The question I have is how is the Fire Fuel on our lots going to be treated? How will
it be disposed of. Will owners bring the brush, logs, twigs etc. to the street or will
each owner be responsible to dispose it?

Are there any beginner-medium Bridge players in Suncadia? We are here most of the time and would like to get together with some other players who want to learn.

Also would love to meet up with someone who can help identify flowers and birds in the Spring.
